Conde Group, Inc’s Facebook “500 likes” Campaign is a success!
San Diego, June 20th, 2012 – Philanthropy is very important in today’s society. It is crucial to help others in need and Conde Group can be found giving back to the community regularly. One charity that Conde Group holds close to their heart is Father Joe’s Villages. In fact, Conde Group employees can be found serving lunch monthly at Father Joe’s Villages.
Father Joe’s Villages was founded more than 60 years ago. What started as a small chapel serving San Diego’s impoverished has grown into a multi-agency organization that is the largest provider of homeless services in both San Diego and Riverside Counties. Father Joe’s Villages provides food, clothing, housing, healthcare, education, job training and child development in a nationally modeled “one-stop-shop” approach. Father Joe’s Villages are able to efficiently and effectively help neighbors due to their compassionate staff, dedicated volunteers, and generous public and private donors.
With an attempt to expand its online presence and brand recognition, Conde Group launched a Facebook campaign partnering with Father Joe’s Villages. In the month of June 2012, Conde Group announced that they would be donating $1,000 to Father Joe’s Villages when they reached 500 likes on Facebook. Conde Group had approximately 350 likes by the time the campaign started. Conde Group was confident that this would be a success since Father Joe’s Villages is an amazing charity and people love to participate in philanthropy. With the help of friends, family, co-workers, and even Father Joe’s Villages’ social media, Conde Group watched as their Facebook likes rapidly approached 500. On June 7th (only 1 week after the start of the campaign!), Conde Group announced that they would officially present the promised donation to Father Joe’s Villages. On June 18th, Karen Conde, CEO/President, proudly presented the $1,000 check to Sister Patricia Cruise, CEO of Father Joe’s Villages.
Conde Group was thrilled that they had this opportunity and they look forward to their next contribution to Father Joe’s Villages.
